What Is Concrete Grinding?
Grinding involves an abrasive tool, like the Walk Behind Concrete Grinder or a Handheld Concrete Grinder, in combination with using rotating diamond discs to slowly shave off small portions of concrete and level, smooth, or clean the surface of a concrete slab.
Grinding is also used to remove all types of coatings, such as glue, spraycrete, paints, sealers, waterproof membranes, epoxy, stencil concrete etc, once Grinding has been completed you can finally successfully install a new Flooring System, Floor Coating or Floor Levelling product, The slab will also be ready to be Honed or Polished. Or simply have a clean, level, and smooth concrete floor.
